Rocket Cat hosting music video premiere event

Rocket Cat is hosting music video premieres at No Studios in Milwaukee on Saturday, June 1. Three music videos debut from their newly released album “Little Lights,” now available at http://www.RocketCatBand.com and all major streaming/download services. Rocket Cat partnered with Eddie Curran of Enterprise Films, LLC to create the visual imagery for the songs. This event is sponsored by Rocket Cat, Enterprise Films, Cherry Pit Studios, Crimson Club & Crimson Rock Radio, and Five O’clock Steakhouse.

Rocket Cat will perform on Radio Milwaukee’s 414Live May 30 at 5:30 p.m. to promote the music video premiere event.

  • 7:45-8:15 p.m. video screening, plus Q&A with the band and director (space is limited)
  • 8:15-8:45 p.m. The Keystones live performance
  • 8:45-9:15 p.m. video screening (repeat), plus Q&A with the band and director (space is limited)
  • 9:15-10:00 p.m. Rocket Cat live performance
  • all ages, $10 at the door, free for No Studios members

Music Video Information

“A Thousand Echoes”– Filmed at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center in Bayside. This song explores the dark side of hopelessness and depression, along with addictions that seep their way into existence to fill the void. The song was in development at the time of Chris Cornell’s death which inspired some of the audio production elements.

“Between Silence”– The Five O’clock Steakhouse in Milwaukee was the perfect setting for a speakeasy, spy-themed storyline. Full of intrigue, unrequited love, and a double-cross or two.

“Paper Dreams”– Filmed at The Crimson Club in West Allis, “Paper Dreams” is a biting anthem of courage and persistence in the face of obstruction. This song is dedicated to all the hard-working creative artists who invest a substantial amount of energy into getting noticed by the gatekeepers of their industry.
